Editorial standards
How Zintick articles are made, and the rules every one of them follows.
Where the facts come from
- SEC filings. Company filings come straight from the SEC's EDGAR system: 8-Ks, quarterly and annual reports, ownership filings. Articles link to the filing they rely on.
- Company figures. Revenue, profit, cash and share counts come from the structured (XBRL) data in those filings, as of the date each was filed.
- Prices. Daily closing prices and volume come from a market data provider (currently Yahoo Finance). They can be delayed or, rarely, wrong; we don't write about a move we can't tie to a cause.
- Analyst actions. Upgrades, downgrades and price-target changes as reported by our market data provider.
- News reports. When our own data doesn't explain a move, we may cite company press releases, wire services and outlets with their own reporters. We list every such source under the article.
How an article is written
Articles are written with AI tools from the sources above and checked against those sources before they publish. A draft that fails a check is held back.
Articles built on outside news reports are always read by a person before publishing. When a person has reviewed an article, it says "Reviewed by" with their name.
What we never do
- Tell you to buy, sell or hold a stock, or predict where a price will go.
- Invent people. Articles carry the "Zintick Team" byline because our system produces them; we don't use made-up names or photos. Our editor, Kratik Mehta, is accountable for these standards and for corrections.
- Present a guess as the reason for a move. If no source gives a cause, we report what happened and say the cause wasn't disclosed, or we don't publish.
- Take payment for coverage.
Corrections
We fix errors as soon as we find them, add a dated note to the article, and list the change on our corrections page. To report an error, contact us.

Company pages list recent filings. Some show a one-line summary marked "AI summary, unreviewed": an AI model wrote it from the filing and it wasn't checked. Read the filing itself before relying on it.
